    Description

    Johnson Evinrude Lower Unit Gearcase 6 HP 389226 0389226 390040 0390040. Came off of a 1979 Evinrude 6 HP 6904E outboard motor. The lower shifts and turns the propshaft in forward and reverse and spins freely in neutral just as it should. It is untested on a running motor. There was maybe a tablespoon of water when I drained the oil, but, there was good suction when I pulled the driveshaft out so it may or may not need seals replaced. You will have to put new oil in before use. What you see is what you get!
